Let's look at the iBudget. How do they determine what budget you will
receive; Is it by your true health history? or what the administration feel your category should be regardless of your health
History? The iBudget only takes a few select characteristics from a QSI
survey from a collective people
with disabilities and plug them into a test machine. I call it a
one shirt fits all attitude. Why because they are not loooking at the person individually and if you are less or more severe
it would not matter. This is why I disagree with this method? If They deny you a service .Get ready to get an attorney . Many Families have family members or are
themselves in categories the adminitration has not even faced in their own personal lives so they really dont understand why
this could be so damaging for those whom they force into this plan. Many people will be placed into more stress levels and
their health ,Saftey and Quality of life will be compromised. The actual health history is being ignored.
Those who don’t have loved ones with disabilities will never understand our dilemma. I pray the stake holders really
look at the whole picture. | | | | | APD is allowing history and math to determine the outcome
of your loved one's life. That is dangerous when disabilities vary greatly as well as the severity of a disability. The
needs of an individual are never open for compromise. They will select a few attributes out of a survey which does
not include the person’s overall well-being. Then, certain details will be entered into a program. This will determine
what needs the individual will be fulfilled and which may not be. This method is known as methodology/algorithm ) Remember APD is not using all of the information
on the survey just some aspects. In my
opinion this method is very dangerous because the individuals may not get all of his or
her needs fully fulfilled for over all well-being, for it is known that an individual may have the same disibility
but a higher severity than another individual. Therefore, the individual will be declined necessities and will be harmed
in the process which is being taken into account. What is a QSI? The QSI is a survey that asks
specific questions about an individual's disability. What if the QSI is written is incorrect? This survey doe not give
details of the disabilities . What
is an iBudget ? It is the name of a tool or method APD is legislating
for to use on all people with disabilities. This method is known as
methodology/algorithm ) How do they
callculate it ? These two tool will determine what funding a disabled person will receive. Now the definition are below. Let's look at some questions first. - Did your loved one with disability take the survey?
- When they asked the questions do you think they ask questions that fully met the needs of your loved
one?
- Did you questions the surveys accuracy when the results came
back?
- Do you really believe they will be able to fit all
of our disabilities together ?
- Do you think this iBudget procedures
will consider all life challanges ?
- Or do you thing
the these issues should stay being decided on a one by one personal basis to gather accurate informationso that it does not
become a healthe or saftey hazzard to your loved one?
They will take the common and similar history patterns to calculate the numbers THEN they
will place them into a computer . that is how your families need will be measured. What is sad about the whole ordeal is that they really are not calculating your health or saftey
..It is math and a collective history to gather the information . My question to you is : Is that fare to the person with the disability. Lets just say, You were placed in the wrong catagory on thesurvey.
Will you have to go through all the red tape and courts just to meet the needs of your loved one with a disability. Please contact your legislation
and tell them NO...for the QSI . iBudget. ( PCB HCA 10-03 ) | | | methodology: the analysis of the principles or procedures of inquiry
